Mark’s journey is a blend of determination, evolution, and personal growth. Starting out in the world of show jumping, he was surrounded by successful families and their internal intricacies from a young age. Yet, ultimately, his career path was shaped by his deeper passion for business and psychology. His time at Carleton University, where he pursued both fields, was the turning point that set him on his current course. After diving into the world of marketing and sales in Montreal, his move back to Ottawa marked another pivotal moment in his professional life, as he not only earned his MBA but also successfully navigated the complex world of stock trading. This varied experience provided Mark with a solid foundation to embrace new challenges, particularly his role in establishing his family’s enterprise family office. His background as the eldest of the fourth generation of his family’s business adds a personal depth to his role and allows him to truly empathize with others in similar family business situations. He then completed the family advisory (FEA) program in anticipation of being able to help others reach their goals. His current path as a mentor, coach, and advisor is a natural extension of his skills and experiences. The combination of his psychological insight, business acumen, and firsthand knowledge of family dynamics in business gives him a unique perspective to help others navigate the complexities of their family enterprise, helping them to both define and reach their goals. Mark's journey has been one of aligning his passions with his professional pursuits, and he is now in a position to guide others as they walk similar paths. Mark parents with a keen awareness that his young daughters will be wealth stewards. Using various techniques in his life to ensure his children are being educated, Mark is an amazing single dad, dedicated to creating a positive and enriching environment for his two daughters. He is a very involved father who values quality time together, consistently staying in touch with his children’s needs. With such a wide range of activities, exploring hobbies, playing music and making playlists together, finding new activities around town, and traveling, they have tons of adventures and new learning experiences. He believes in empowering his children to make their own decisions and be responsible around the house while maintaining consistent structure and boundaries that add to his children’s sense of security.
